What an operator should prepare before claiming a property profile

Prepare evidence of your role, official contacts and accurate property updates for a reviewed ownership or operator claim.

MIMO field notes · Operator practice · · MIMO editorial team

A property claim connects a profile to an authorized person or organization. It should not be treated as automatic proof of ownership or a public certification. Prepare the connection clearly so the reviewing team can understand what you are asking to update.

Identify the profile and your role

Use the property name, address and existing profile reference. State whether you are the owner, management company, operator or an authorized representative. Keep the legal company name distinct from the property’s marketing name.

Provide an official website or company contact channel that can help establish the relationship. If private documentation is needed, ask for the appropriate review process instead of uploading sensitive records to a public form or adding them to the property description.

Separate corrections from new claims

List factual corrections such as a changed telephone number, outdated website or incorrect operator. Then list additions such as amenities or a furnished-housing offering. Each should have a current source or a clear authorized explanation.

Do not use a claim request to publish an unconfirmed vacancy, invented rent range or a partner badge. A profile can be accurate without making a live availability promise.

Prepare a manageable update pack

  • Property name and exact location.
  • Company role and official contact details.
  • Requested corrections and their sources.
  • Approved descriptive text and image-use permissions, if images are supplied.
  • A contact responsible for future updates.

Keep public company contact details separate from personal contacts used only for review. The latter should not automatically become a public email on the profile.

Submit the claim through the existing form and retain its reference. Review and approval are separate steps from submission. When an update is completed, check the public result against the request. An accurate, maintained profile is the useful outcome; a submission alone is not a verified-operator status.
